Structure: Each day focuses on one event, with a Scripture reading, a short reflection, a prayer, and a response.
Timing: Plan for 15-20 minutes per session. Begin with an opening prayer on Day 1 and conclude with a closing prayer on Day 14.
Materials: Bibles, and printed copies of the devotional (if desired).

Monday, March 31

Day 1: Yeshua in the Garden of Gethsemane
Scripture: Matthew 26:36-41
Reflection: Yeshua faces the weight of His mission alone, yet He surrenders to God’s will. In our struggles, do we seek God’s strength or rely on ourselves?
Prayer: Lord, grant us the grace to trust in Your will, even when we feel overwhelmed, as Yeshua did in the garden.
Response: Lord, help us to watch and pray with You.
Worship Recommendation: All for Love (Gethsemane) by Worship Central

A note to those with Jesus/Yeshua sensitivities. At Yeshua’s House, we use Yeshua. Some even say Yahuah. Both are Hebrew. We do this not out arrogance, but because Yeshua was (is) a Hebrew, a Jew from the tribe of Judah, and altogether comfortable with the Father’s instruction (torah). Jesus is a translation (from the Greek “Iēsous,” which in turn is a transliteration of the Hebrew name “Yeshua” (יֵשׁוּעַ), meaning “Yah is salvation” or “God saves”). While we prefer Yeshua because it helps us associate our Savior and Master with the Father and His torah, we also find no need to belittle our brothers and sisters in Messiah who say Jesus. In fact, we’re presently grateful to them for helping us, through song, prepare our hearts for the Passover season.
