We Look at the Heart
Sara's story
When we started Yeshua's House, we almost didn't have anyone to lead us in worship. We had a man, a talented man, during the informational phase of our start-up, but he felt a call elsewhere (and we respect that).
Then, Sara stepped in. She was seventeen at the time, knew a few chords, and had nearly zero experience leading. But as I sat with Sara and her parents at their dining room table, I noticed something. I saw a willing heart, a quiet spirit, the ability to take direction (and correction), a desire to learn, and — importantly — a deep love for Yeshua.
And as we sat there I knew in my spirit, "You're it." You're the vessel Yahweh has chosen to lead a humble people into the throne room of our God.
Did it take a little while for Sara to feel comfortable leading? Yes. But that's okay. What we're after as a fellowship isn't technical perfection or stage presence, but about worshiping our God in spirit and truth. And because that's in our DNA, the worship we offer is for Yahweh, not us. And what does Yahweh want? He wants someone whose heart is like David's (1 Sam 16:17).

And that's exactly what we have in Sara. In Sara, we have a person who never draws attention to herself. Her life is simple and humble. In her actions, she's not trying to make a name for herself. Rather, her heart's desire is to make a name for her King, Messiah Yeshua.
We love it.
We need servants at Yeshua's House, but there's a process and protocol. And know this, your skill is secondary. On behalf of the Elders, what we're really looking for is heart. If it's in your heart to serve,
In Messiah,
We love it.

Giving Up Our Rights
Our service goal: Shalom
This one's a big concept, so please read carefully.
At Yeshua's House, those who lead and teach essentially give up there rights. For example, there's nothing in the Bible that says a sinless person must bear the weight of sin. Yeshua had a right to stay in the heavens. Had a right to forego the cross. But he didn't. He let go of His rights to save and shape us. Here's how the Apostle Paul puts it.
At Yeshua's House, maturity understands that while "All things are lawful for me ... not all things are profitable. All things are lawful ... but I will not be mastered by anything."
Therefore, we ask our teachers, leaders, and anyone who stands in front of our congregation to make the Kingdom of Yahweh (which includes our fellowship) your primary concern. While it may be permissible to do a thing, if doing that thing (even when you're alone) doesn't foster truth, dignity, rightness, purity, loveliness, a commendable quality, excellence, and praiseworthiness, then we who teach and lead should joyfully remove ourselves from that situation.
Happy to give up my rights with you in light of all Yeshua has done for us,

Have this way of thinking in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although existing in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a slave, by being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross (Phil 2:5-8).

Steps to Serving at Yeshua's House
Step 1
Pray about it. Has Yahweh called you to this? Is it your desire to make a name for Yahweh in the task (and not a name for yourself)?
Step 2
Do you feel teachable and humble? Are you willing to take direction and submit to the Elders for the good of the fellowship?
Step 3
If you're serving as a helper or behind-the-scenes, go to Step 6. If you want to teach, lead, or be in front of the congregation, you'll need to go through Steps 4 and 5.
Step 5
Read and sign the Handbook & Guidelines for the area in which you'd like to serve.
Step 6
Once that's done, wait for approval. It shouldn't take long. Welcome aboard.

The below is in development. Please pardon our dust. Expected completion: June 2026.
